A new challenge for Kos is to capture the most evocative photographs of polo ponies at rest and in motion. Whilst equine photography is well established, Kos combines her artistic perspective and passion for horses to capture on camera their movement and majesty. “The most beautiful ponies and skilled players make fascinating subjects” says Kos. “Using predominantly long lenses and slow shutter speeds, I want to capture the power and emotion in the movement of a horse and its rider. I can freeze a moment in time that the human eye cannot otherwise see”.
